Eva Amurri shares a Rosewater Margarita recipe for Valentine's Day

This post was originally published on February 9, 2016.

This Valentine’s Day, I wanted to mix my Honey and me up something a little bit unexpected.  Champagne is great (really great) but sometimes I crave something a little less traditional. I concocted this yummy Rosewater Margarita to celebrate the flower-filled holiday this year.  The faint hint of roses is the perfect accompaniment to your Valentine’s Day Plans!

You can shake one up at home with your Bae, or even create a round for your best Girlfriends.  Either way, your evening is sure to be muy caliente!

Ingredients…
Directions…
  1. Rim a glass with salt by rubbing a lime wedge around the rim, and dipping it into a dish filled with salt.
  2. Add ice to the glass until it is three-quarters of the way full and set aside.
  3. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, and add all ingredients, shaking vigorously until well blended and chilled.
  4. Strain into your glass, garnish with rose petals.
  5. Enjoy responsibly!

This recipe sounds tasty! The triple sec and lime are pretty strong flavors though. Were you able to taste the rose water?

Hi Eva! Where do you recommend buying the rosewater from? Do you have a brand you use? Thank you!

    • Hi Alicia! I found mine at Whole Foods in LA (when I was living there) but you may be able to order on Amazon if that doesn’t work!

      xx
